Omega Seamaster 300 ref. 165.024. from 1966 with untouched dial, 1506 bracelet and serviced cal. 552 movement.
A truly beautiful example of the iconic Omega Seamaster 300, presented in untouched condition, just the way we love to see them.
Starting with the dial: this is the highly sought-after small triangle variant, featuring crisp white fonts, original sword hands, and the correct spear seconds hand. The tritium has naturally aged—while it may have lost some of its original brightness, it certainly hasn’t lost its soul, giving the watch a warm and honest vintage character.
The dial is protected by its original Omega-signed acrylic crystal. We have carefully polished it as much as possible, deliberately choosing not to replace it in order to preserve the watch’s authenticity.
The correct 1966 bi-directional bezel with bold font shows signs of wear, as expected, but has stood the test of time remarkably well and complements the watch’s overall character.
Moving on to the case: it remains very sharp and, in our opinion, unpolished. The hippocampus case back features strong, well-preserved engravings and is fitted with the correct flat crown.
Inside ticks the reliable Omega Caliber 552 movement, fully serviced in March 2026 by our watchmaker. It runs beautifully, with an amplitude of 302 and an accuracy of +3 seconds per 24 hours.
This example is fitted with its original and period-correct Omega 1506 bracelet, dated 3/66, with “16” end links, suitable for wrists up to approximately 18,5 cm.
The Seamaster 300, introduced in 1957, was Omega’s answer to the growing demand for professional dive watches. It quickly became a favorite among military units and professional divers thanks to its robust construction, excellent legibility, and reliable movement qualities that still make it highly collectible today.
The movement comes with a 6-month mechanical warranty. The watch will be delivered in a leather watch pouch, along with our warranty certificate.
If you have any questions, we are happy to help!
We thoroughly inspect every watch before offering it through our store and, when necessary, ensure that it is fully serviced. However, sometimes defects arise and therefore we offer a 6-month warranty on each watch purchased. This warranty covers solely mechanical defects (related to the movement) and excludes issues arising from normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper use.
Excluded from the warranty are, among other, the waterproofness of the watch, as well as breaking/loss of the glass, winding stem, winding crown, spring, buttons and pushers and such, and the strap/bracelet. Also excluded is damage caused by falling/bumping of the watch or through the presence of dirt or moisture in the watch.
