Corum 20 Dollar double eagle coin watch with 35mm case and manual-wind movement.
€ 5.800,00
The Corum $20 Double Eagle Coin Watch is one of the brand’s most iconic creations, combining American history with fine Swiss watchmaking. This example is crafted from an authentic 1900 United States $20 Double Eagle (Liberty Head) gold coin, featuring a 22K gold coin housed in an 18K yellow gold case.
Powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement, this sought-after 35 mm model remains completely original and is presented in excellent condition. The watch features Corum’s signature transparent cabochon crown, is fitted with a new 20 mm genuine leather strap, and comes with the original gold-plated 14 mm Corum pin buckle.
Sold with a 6-month warranty.
Introduced in 1964, the Corum Coin Watch became an instant icon. An authentic U.S. $20 Double Eagle gold coin was carefully split in two, allowing an ultra-thin Swiss movement to be fitted inside while preserving the coin’s original appearance. Today, these watches are highly collectible for their unique blend of history, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
The 1900 Double Eagle, designed by James Barton Longacre, features the famous Lady Liberty on the obverse and the American eagle on the reverse, making it one of the most celebrated gold coins ever produced.
A timeless collector’s piece that combines precious metals, historical significance, and elegant Swiss craftsmanship.
